Group ICT Manager at Madison Group Limited

Overall Responsibility

The position provides overall coordination of the Group’s ICT projects, directing of shared ICT services, managing ICT risk and overseeing business continuity. This position will also provide strategic leadership in the design, development and maintenance of all information and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare and maintain the Group’s ICT Strategy.
• Manage and coordinate ICT functions across the subsidiaries and provide strategic leadership and guidance on ICT matters including enforcing best practices in ICT standards.
• To prepare Board reports on all ICT matters including the ICT strategy and key options appraisals as far as they are decisions for the Board.
• Identify the most appropriate procurement options for ICT to support the Group’s objectives.
• Lead on the implementation of all new ICT systems and developments to existing systems.
• Manage the relationship with all key stakeholders both internally and externally and maintain appropriate communication forums with them.
• Ensure all data held is well protected and properly backed up.
• Create and regularly review a risk register of key business risks in respect of ICT.
• Identify ICT training needs for the organization, review on a regular basis and ensure they are addressed.

Academic Qualification

• Masters in Business Administration or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT, Computer Engineering or Information Systems

Professional Qualifications

• MCSE, MCSD, MCCP, ITIL, Prince 2, PMP and/or CISA
• VMware, NETAP Infrastructure
• Oracle, SQL
• Experience in Microsoft, NET, Visual Basic and HTML
• Experience working with an ERP system

Experience

• At least 12 years’ experience in data processing, hardware platforms and enterprise software applications, with 5 years in senior management level.
• Technical experience in systems, databases and web development and in user support.
