Job Purpose Statement

• The purpose of this job is to lead a highly skilled technical team to ensure they assist the business delivery its strategic objectives using technology to delivery stable and efficient services to their customers.
• To achieve this the job owner must be able to liaise with external and internal stakeholders to meet their needs, provide security and ensure a high standard of overall service delivery in a timely manner.
• In addition the job holder must ensure the bank’s use of technology must be within the laid down rules and regulations as guided by both global and international standards in as far as is applicable.

Ideal Job Specifications

• Academic: Bachelor of Computer Science degree
• Masters in Information Science will be an added advantage

Professional:

• MCP, MCSE, ITIL or CISA qualifications.

Desired work experience:

• 10 years’ working experience in an IT environment, with sound exposure to database and network administration, 4 of which should be at a senior management level.
