Mission Statement for the Role:

• To own the end-to-end technical and operational delivery of the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) plan.
• Ensure that ESG is well documented and engrained in our everyday's business.

Key SMART Results for A-Player Success

• Assess the current state of ESG within organisation, evaluate greatest risks and threats.
• Develop a roadmap to improve ESG, harness buy-in from all levels of the business.
• Take ownership, manage and execute an ESG action plan
• Provide quarterly progress reports on ESG to all stakeholders, using quantifiable and qualitative data
• Develop and foster a culture within the company where the importance of ESG is embraced, and reflected in daily activities

Key Competencies 

• Proven experience of building, developing and implementing an ESG plan.
• Held budgetary responsibility for end to end ESG function.
• Detailed understanding of IFC Performance Standards (PS) 1-6 and ability to navigate through the complex landscape to determine best fit for Poa.
• Ability to develop ESG data into meaningful reports and stories for the organization.
• Possess strong analytical, evaluation design, and methodological skills, and utilizes “right-fit” methods.
• Hands-on attitude, not only able to develop an ESG plan but also willing to be on the ground and support in the company-wide adoption and implementation
