HealthSupply Chain - II (Pharmtech) at Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops

JOB PURPOSE

The overall job function is to provide technical expertise, coordination and supervision of all supply chain and commodity management, forecasting, quantification and reporting activities for HIV related supply chain and commodity management services in compliance with national and donor guidelines and policies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical leadership on the supply chain and commodity management aspects of HIV service delivery activities to ensure effective
• implementation, collaboration, teamwork and collegiality for these activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain management issues, including in forecasting, procurement, storage and distribution, support ART
• dispensing tool and EMR platforms, and liquidation of SC related financial expenses from supported sites.
• Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of costed supply chain and commodity management project work-plans
• Review and monitor program procurement plans to ensure robust supply
• chain strategies and technical assistance.
• Oversee the integration of KCCB ACTS’s technical approaches in commodity management and reporting using evidence informed, innovative and best
• practices.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from Kenya Medical Training College or any recognized institution.
• ART Management training and relevant job experience of at least three (3) years working experience after internship in a CCC set up.
• Must have a valid Pharmaceutical Technologists license from the Kenya
• Pharmacy and Poisons Board;
• Working in a US Grants environment will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in medical supply chain management
• Experience in international supply chain management related to public health programs, pharmaceutical management and HIV & AIDS
