Housekeeper/Matron – Boarding Section at Talent Grid Africa

• This role is more than housekeeping it’s about providing a safe, clean, and caring environment where students feel supported, guided, and heard.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising day-to-day routines including wake-up, study, meals, and bedtimes
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the dormitory and communal areas
• Conducting room inspections and coordinating minor repairs
• Supporting new student onboarding into boarding life
• Responding to emergencies, medical incidents, and student welfare concerns

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate or Diploma in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a boarding school setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, and the ability to nurture and guide adolescents
• A strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and emotional wellbeing
