Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising day-to-day routines including wake-up, study, meals, and bedtimes
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the dormitory and communal areas
• Conducting room inspections and coordinating minor repairs
• Supporting new student onboarding into boarding life
• Responding to emergencies, medical incidents, and student welfare concerns

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate or Diploma in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a boarding school setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, and the ability to nurture and guide adolescents
• A strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and emotional wellbeing

This role goes beyond the kitchen. You’ll manage a team, oversee food safety compliance, handle stock and budgeting, and coordinate catering for school events. You’ll play a major part in the day-to-day experience of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Planning balanced, cost-effective menus that meet nutritional standards
• Supervising kitchen operations, food preparation, and plating
• Ensuring hygiene and sanitation protocols are strictly followed
• Ordering and tracking supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment
• Managing catering logistics for events like parent meetings and school functions

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate or Diploma in Catering, Food Production, or Hospitality
• Minimum 3 years of experience in institutional or school catering
• Strong kitchen leadership and staff supervision skills
• Familiarity with HACCP and Kenyan food safety regulations
• A valid health certificate is required
