Job Description

Qualification and Experience

• Holder of a Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Served as a Human Resource Officer for a minimum period of five (5) years in a comparable institution or in the Public Service.
• Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
• Have proficiency in computer application.
• Meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Duties and responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining human resource management records.
• Supervising of employees.
• Preparing reports/cases for presentation to the Institute Human Resource and Training Committee.
• Advising management on HR matters in the institution in line with relevant policies
• Planning and arranging for induction of new employees
• Ensuring health and safety of employees
• Taking care of employees welfare
• Assisting in counseling employees.
• Any other duty assigned
