    Human Resources Intern

    Job Summary

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven intern to assist our HR department with administrative tasks. To be successful in this role, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in labor legislation to determine how company HR policies may be affected. You should also be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills. This is a temporary role for a duration of 03 (three) months only.

    Responsibilities

    1. Updating company databases by adding required details e.g. contact information and employment details.
    2. Screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to facilitate long-lists and short-lists.
    3. Book and schedule interviews with candidates as guided by the hiring manager.
    4. Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
    5. Removing job advertisements from job boards and social media platforms once vacancies have been filled.
    6. Assisting in gathering market salary information.
    7. Coordinating new hire orientations and ensuring all relevant documentations are issued to them and submitted by them.
    8. Any other duties assigned by the hiring manager and other supervisors.

    Requirements

    1. A Bachelors in human resource management.
    2. One year experience working in an office environment.
    3. Knowledge of the Kenyan employment act.
    4. Computer literate with experience in spreadsheets, word, and powerpoint presentations.
    5. Ability to operate in a group setting and work as a team member.
    6. Ability to accept instructions and constructive criticism.
    7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    8. Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
    9. Effective interpersonal and communication skills with good command of the English language. 10.Ability to be accurate and detail-oriented.
    10. Ability to keep deadlines and work under pressure.
