Candidate Requirements

1. Bachelor in in the following fields: Economics, Business administration, Finance, Accounting, Social Sciences, Statistics, Law or Related field
2. 2 years’ experience in the same field
3. Bright, enthusiastic and keen to learn
4. Good communication skills both verbal and written
5. Able to efficiently use Word/Excel and Outlook
6. Able to liaise confidently with customers and internal staff
7. Are you punctual and reliable
8. Strong knowledge about international trade is required.
9. Excellent Customer Service Skills
10. Good Telephone manner
11. Good level of Mathematics ability
12. IT Proficient including Microsoft office
13. Ability to Prioritize & Organize would be helpful
14. Excellent Team Player

Tasks of an Import/Export Trainee

• Preparing and issuing documents needed for trade: bill of landing, letter of credit…
• Making sure that terms and customs rules are respected.
• Applying incoterms.
• Following-up with clients and/or providers.
• Controlling activities related to the transaction.
• Following-up with transport partners
