Insurance Sales Representative is a person who sells insurance policies. Insurance Sales Representative calls and meets with clients and potential clients to grow their customer base. The Insurance Sales Representative goal is to get information about clients' needs and match them with insurance policies they offer.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Research and source potential clients and build long-term relationships with them
2. Persuade prospective clients to engage in a phone conversation and/or meeting to discuss insurance products
3. Advise clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
4. Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients
5. Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain benefits and risks of the policy
6. Re-assess the policy needs of existing clients after life-changing events
7. Fill-out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports in the insurance system.
8. Keep track and meet the set KPI’s.
9. Keep abreast of all leads that come through the insurance portal, referrals and call them in the shortest time possible to increase conversion rate.
10. Contact all IPF leads and establish how much they want to borrow, confirm all KYC documents have been collected and proposals dully filled, creating them as prospects on the insurance portal and passing them on to the supervisor for confirmation.

Qualifications and skills

1. 2 years of previous working experience as an Insurance Agent
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills
3. Resilient spirit and a persistent nature
4. Impeccable interpersonal skills and friendly attitude
5. Well, organized with time great management abilities
6. Degree in Sales and Marketing, business, or similar relevant fields
