Overview

• The Interior Designer will be responsible for engaging apartment buyers and guiding them through the company's pre-designed furnishing concepts and packages. The role will involve understanding each client's preferences and requirements, clearly presenting the available furnishing options, recommending suitable selections, and converting client interest into furnishing sales.
• The successful candidate should combine interior design knowledge with strong communication and sales skills, while being creative, organised, presentable and highly attentive to clients' needs. While the company has established furnishing concepts and specifications, the Interior Designer will be encouraged to provide creative input and suggest improvements or personalised options where appropriate.

Job description

• Client Consultation: Meet with apartment buyers to understand their lifestyle, preferences, budget and furnishing requirements. 
• Furnishing Presentation: Present and explain the company's existing furnishing concepts, packages, furniture selections, finishes and décor options in a clear and engaging manner. 
• Client Guidance & Personalisation: Help clients select the most suitable options and provide creative recommendations or adjustments based on their individual preferences. 
• Sales & Conversion: Actively promote the company's furnishing packages, respond to client enquiries, follow up on prospective clients and support the conversion of furnishing selections into sales. 
• Client Experience: Build positive and professional relationships with clients and ensure they receive attentive and knowledgeable guidance throughout the selection process. 
• Coordination & Follow-Up: Coordinate client selections with the relevant internal teams and suppliers and follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries and other furnishing requirements. 
• Creative Input: Provide ideas and recommendations that can improve existing furnishing concepts, packages and the overall client experience. 

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Design or a related field. 
• Previous experience in interior design, furniture, home décor, property furnishing, retail or a client-facing sales environment will be highly advantageous.  
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles will be highly advantageous. 
• Good understanding of furniture, finishes, materials, colour coordination and interior styling. 
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, ArchiCAD or similar is an advantage. 
• Chinese/Mandarin language skills are an added advantage.
