    International Accounting Internship

    Benefit to Intern: The intern will:

    •  Gain exposure to real-world problems and issues that perhaps are not found in textbooks.
    •  Cultivate adaptability and creativity in a dynamic world
    •  Develops the intern's professionalism
    •  Building experiences while applying academic concepts and principles
    •  Have personal growth experiences and exposure to different job opportunities
    •  Have access and exposure to a global health network

    Internship's goals and learning objectives:

    •  Accounting Skills/ERP Systems
    •  Advanced Excel
    •  INGO exposure
    •  Teamwork/Communication skills

    Skills to be developed and/or expanded during internship:

    •  Expand knowledge in accounting
    •  Working knowledge of global accounting operations in the NGO sector,
    •  Exposure to accounting systems (unit 4/Blackline/Salesforce that will further enhance he/her knowledge and skills
    •  Develop usage of Microsoft office suit (Advanced excel)

    Proposed activities: Assist the IAS Team with:

    •  Account Reconciliations
    •  Month/Quarter end close
    •  Vendor creation
    •  Registration of transactions
    •  Support of country offices and other IAS Team members

    Learning outcomes (how the Intern's performance will be evaluated): Using performance evaluation tools available at PATH after every 3 months

    Required skills and experience:

    • Graduating with an Accounting/Finance degree/Computer skills/Excel usage
