Investment Research Analyst – Nairobi at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Responsibilities;

• Conduct fundamental research and analysis on companies, industries, and economic trends.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and industry data to identify investment risks and opportunities.
• Monitor and assess current portfolio holdings and provide updates on performance and market conditions.
• Stay up to date with market developments, geopolitical events, and other factors impacting investment decisions.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior analysts to develop investment theses.
• Utilize data analytics tools and databases for research and analysis.
• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and analyze capital markets, Nairobi securities exchange and global markets.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and yearly reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in investment research, equity analysis, or a related financial role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for financial markets.
