    IT Intern

    Job Description

    • Assist the IT team in providing technical support to hotel staff and guests. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with printer and peripheral device setups.
    • Participate in routine maintenance tasks such as updating software, performing hardware checks, assist with inventory management of IT equipment.
    • Help with the setup and maintenance of the hotel's computer network, including routers, switches, and access points. Troubleshoot network issues and assist in ensuring network security.
    • Provide basic IT training to hotel staff to help them effectively utilize computer systems and software applications.
    • Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, and configurations. Assist in creating and updating IT documentation and manuals.
    • Collaborate with the IT team on various IT projects, which may include system upgrades, software installations, and technology enhancements.
    • Provide friendly and efficient customer service when assisting staff or guests with IT-related inquiries or problems.

    Qualifications

    • Currently a student pursuing Information Technology or a related field.
    • Strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn.
    • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
    • Familiarity with networking concepts is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
