Junior Accountant
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND , Professional Certificate
- Experience 1 - 2 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
- Process invoices, payments and receipts.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer and inventory reconciliations.
- Support Accounts Payable & Receivable.
- Assist with financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing and audits.
- Support statutory compliance, including VAT and withholding tax.
- Track errors, variances and outstanding balances
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA Part II completed or equivalent.
- 1-2 years' relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, integrity and organisation.
- Retail, inventory or multi-branch experience is an added advantage.
