    Key Account Executive

    Position Summary

Perfection is at the heart of what we do, and our people are always looking for the next big idea to cement our status. We are now looking for a Key Accounts Executive based in Kenya. In this role you will be responsible for executing annual customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives.

    A Key Account Executive:

    • You will prospect for new customers, plan business development with customers, analyze performance of the key outlets covered.
    • Developing, negotiating, and implementing Joint Business Agreements.
    • Ensure effective category management & merchandising in all key outlets is executed.
    • Manage adequate stock cover in all outlets and ensure proper brand assortment (must have SKUs') as well as planning & running promotions effectively.
    • Keep abreast with competitor intelligence and generate reports and updates on all competitor activities like displays, pricing, new products/brand’s introductions.
    • Effectively handle customer complaints, ensure proper invoicing and timely deliveries.
    • Manage customer enquiries, manage debts and customer credit terms.
    • Ensure company product availability in all outlets, manage listing of new products, organize new product sampling to create awareness and initiate activities to drive sales.
    • Manage customers credit limits, credit days, and payment modes.
    • You will be accountable and responsible to achieve agreed upon Key Account targets and KPIs.
    • Adhere to all Company principles and policies including Nestlé trade policy, local Sales policy, local Trade Terms, Safety and legal regulations.

    What Will Make You Successful

    • Minimum 2 years sales experience handling key account customers preferably in the modern trade.
    • Bachelor’s degree in related commercial fields such as Marketing or Sales.
    • Experience in negotiation with local key account customers.
    • Demonstrable result focus, initiative and good communication skills.
    • Knowledge of the market, good business sense and product knowledge.
