    National Air Logistics Process Manager

    Your Role

    This position is responsible for all the operational air logistics processes, including but not limited to effective system utilization, monitoring of Key performance Indicators & Forwarding Controlling Systems targets as well as optimization of Kuehne + Nagel Global shared Service Centre . The main target is to develop strategies to increase performance, quality and utilization of Kuehne+Nagel systems and operational workflow.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Ensuring effective air logistics operating system utilization and that the management of tasks is being executed by branch level management teams (monitored through Business Automation Management tools and billing reports.
    • Controlling of air logistics operational processes to ensure optimal workflow structure is implemented. Root cause analysis and support of the air logistics organization in regard to the operational Key performance Indicators . As well as oversight of customer implementation projects & ensuring a smooth on boarding process.
    • Facilitation of systems tools and transition of tasks to the Shared Service Centre and acting as first point of contact with the SSC teams and Regional Operational Management (RA-M) relating to task transition.
    • Evaluating and ensuring that appropriate infrastructure is in place for business growth (when committed business is on board) and when staff fluctuations occur.
    • Acting as the direct responsible party ensuring that the respective air logistics departments are meeting productivity targets and ensuring smooth and efficient systems and process collaboration with other business units. Ensuring that effective cost management processes are in place and adhered to at branch / department levels.
    • Monitoring utilization and performance of Cargo IQ (IATA Status reports) Key performance Indicators (KPI's) as well as monitoring and driving the Forwarding Controlling Systems (FOCOS) development.
    • Self-driven analysis of systems, processes, and performances with the help of the applicable operational management while monitoring major customer’s Key performance Indicators (KPI's) to ensure levels of committed service are being achieved.
    • Ensuring all necessary trainings have been completed as per national training matrix and being responsible of the on boarding process of new hires

    Your Skills And Experiences

    • Good knowledge of Air Logistics Operation & Logistics Industry
    • Kuehne + Nagel Systems (e.g. Airlog,)
    • Project / Process Management
    • Six Sigma Certification
    • The ideal candidate will possess seasoned listening skills, good analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, self-discipline, leadership and motivational abilities.
    • In addition, creative ability in streamlining and optimizing operational processes. Solid operational knowledge and experience with Kuehne + Nagel systems are beneficial.
