Basic Salary Scale Ksh 60,000- 110,000 p.m

Job Purpose      

The purpose of this job is to establish legal property boundaries in the Technopolis through demarcation, delimitation, delineation, and authentication to support orientation of engineering structures, titling of land and registration of condominiums.

Job Specification

Duties and responsibilities

• Carrying out periodic surveys at Konza Technopolis;
• Casting ground beacons to Konza Technopolis parcels;
• Developing digital parcel demarcations for Konza Technopolis;
• Producing Ground surveys of Konza Technopolis master plans;
• Developing GIS Mapping, interpretation and parcel data analysis;
• Developing deed plans for each parcel at Konza Technopolis;
• Identifying physical location of parcels at Konza Technopolis for investors;
• Providing survey periodical reports;
• Carries out testing and calibration of surveying equipment;
• Liaising with Corporation departments, governments Agencies and private entities in carrying out survey functions; and
• Collating data for maintaining the survey repository.

Person Specification

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –

• Bachelor’s Degree in Survey, photogrammetry and remote sensing; Geo spatial Engineering; Geomatics Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
