    Legal Clerk II

    Duties and Responsibilities

    A Legal Clerk II will be responsible to the Senior Legal Clerk for: –

    1. Taking hearing dates in Litigation matters;
    2. Facilitating service of Legal Documents;
    3. Collecting, circulating and filing of published bills and subsidiary legislation;
    4. Filing of court documents and any other legal documents;
    5. Organizing the Legal Department Registry;
    6. Drafting Legal Documents under the supervision of the Litigation Counsel; and
    7. Providing any other Clerical services that may be required by Parliament, the Committees, the Speaker, the Parliamentary Service Commission or the Clerk.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For direct appointment to this position a candidate must: –

    1. Have a Certificate in Law from a recognized institution;
    2. Be proficient in the use of basic computer applications; and
    3. Possess a current Process Server’s Certificate.
