Requirements for Appointment

• Be a citizen of Kenya;
• A diploma in Law from a recognized institution;
• Knowledge in paralegal of not less than three (3) years;
• Be proficient in the use of basic computer applications; and
• Possess a current Process Server’s Certificate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Filing of court documents and any other legal documents;
• Service and facilitating service of Legal Documents or any other documents;
• taking hearing dates in Litigation matters;
• Drafting Legal Documents under the supervision of the Legal Counsel; and providing any other Clerical services that may be required by the Office of the County Attorney;
• Attending government registries, lodging documents and applications;
• Undertaking routine errands to public registries, courts, and other relevant offices;
• Assisting with management of filing, archiving and retrieval system at the legal registry;
• Managing the court/litigation diary; and
• Attending court to obtain the necessary documents or court proceeding
