Liquids Foreman - Food Industry (FMCG) at CDL Human Resource

• Ensure production of beverage juices in required quantities and conforms to set quality standards.

Main accountabilities of the Liquids Foreman will include: -

• Maintaining proper supervision and manning of production lines, co-ordinating with other sections. Continuous monitoring of product being packed
• Ensuring Autonomous/Corrective/Preventive maintenance of equipment in the section is done with a view to reduce downtime/spoilage/wastage
• Monitoring production material/spare parts usage and ensure efficient utilization with minimum spoilage/wastage
• Ensuring set quality standards are met.
• Maintaining the section’s sanitation and hygiene standard
• Maintaining good house keeping and safety of both employees and equipments.
• Ensuring good discipline and communication.
• Ensuring that the required Products are packed in adequate volumes and quality as per the sales department requirement.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements: -
• Degree/Diploma in Food science & Technology or Mechanical Engineering (Plant Option) or any other related course.
• Experience in Juice processing operations will be an added advantage.
• Over 5 years-experience in manufacturing preferably in a food industry (FMCG)
• Must demonstrate merit and ability to achieve their work performance and results.
• Must be able to work under highly stressful conditions.     
• Due to large work force one has to be a team player and self motivated with a positive attitude.
