Logistics Manager at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Requirements:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, imports, exports and customs clearance operations.
• Liaise and negotiate for better rates with Service providers, Shipping lines and Freight Forwarders.
• Evaluate budgets and expenditures.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full Import and Export cycle.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Resolve any arising complaints related to import or export operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
• Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Follow and ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy, procedures and rules.

Qualifications: 

• Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or any other related field.
• Must have 10 years and above working experience in a similar role.
• Must be Proficient in SAP & Excel.
• Must have good geographical knowledge.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
