Marketing Associate - Kisumu at Sanergy

About the role

The  Marketing Associate - Kisumu will  be responsible for planning and implementing marketing promotional  activities both online and offline . They  should understand the extensive details of marketing and be familiar with ways to analyze campaigns,  market research and customers' behavior.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
2. With support from your supervisor take lead in organizing various activations and campaigns
3. Conduct market research and analysis.
4. Planning and execution of on ground activations .
5. Make follow up calls on leads generated and share reports 
6. Assist in below the line marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g.  social media marketing, marketing activations, market storming etc)
7. Help in development and distribution  marketing materials.
8. Represent the company in community forums, events and exhibitions. 
9. Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.

Qualifications

1. At least  2- 3 years  experience in marketing. 
2. Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
3. Ability to analyze the market and develop relevant approach strategies.
4. Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
5. Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
6. Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
7. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Bulk SMS Apps, CRM’s (Salesforce, Odoo.)
8. Exquisite communication and people skills.
9. Experience in managing professional social media accounts
10. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a business related field
