Marketing Coordinator at Sinapis

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support social media content creation and management by brainstorming content ideas, creating engaging posts for the Sinapis content calendar, initiating campaigns, and tracking campaign progress
• Capture compelling photos and stories of entrepreneurs in Sinapis programs via phone photography
• Work with outsourced photographers and videographers for creative projects to give creative direction according to Sinapis’ brand guide
• Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the marketing team activities are running smoothly across East Africa
• Create reports on marketing metrics, including conversion rates
• Curate monthly newsletters for Sinapis local audiences
• Manage photo and video shoots as needed (photo and/ or video editing experience is a plus)
• Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
• Attend, offer ideas, and take minutes for events and marketing team meetings
• Support the planning and execution of special events and activities
• Assist with building and maintaining a media contact directory
• Proofread materials before publishing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate or higher degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in a similar position
• A heart for our mission and a passion for alleviating poverty through private sector development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Experience with social media content creation and management
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
• Strong character and integrity

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
• Digital marketing management experience is highly preferred
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot
• Solid understanding of business, entrepreneurship, and missions
