Marketing Officer at Uasin Gishu County Government

QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements for appointment:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Business Administration preferably with a bias in Marketing or related field from a recognized institution.
• Creative and innovative thinker;
• Excellent communication skills; and
• Networking, interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective partnership working;

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Develop marketing strategy for new and existing products & services within the county;
• Carry out the day to day activities of the marketing team;
• Develop marketing strategies including branding, advertising aimed at improving marketing of the community products;
• Work closely and assist individuals and producer business groups such as co-operative societies, self-help groups in developing marketing strategies;
• Undertake market research and advise on market trends;
• Prepare and submit quarterly marketing reports; and
• Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
