Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a client in the food manufacturing industry, is recruiting a Mechanical Technician to support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of factory machinery.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands manufacturing environments and takes pride in safe, accurate, and timely mechanical work.
Key qualifications include:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing or factory machinery
Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and reduce downtime
Experience working with rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machines
Good organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
