Merchandising Officer – Garment Factory at EBK Headwear and Apparel Epz Co.Ltd

Reports To: Merchandising/Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Merchandising Officer coordinates all buyer orders, materials, and production activities to ensure timely, accurate, and quality garment execution from sampling to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders, tech packs, BOMs, and buyer requirements.
• Prepare internal order sheets and coordinate pre-production samples and approvals.
• Follow up daily production (Cutting, Embroidery, Printing, Sewing, Finishing) and flag delays or risks.
• Confirm fabric, trims, and packaging availability; coordinate with Procurement/Warehouse on shortages.
• Communicate with buyers on samples, approvals, production updates, and WIP reports.
• Work with QA/QC to maintain quality standards and resolve defects or shading issues.
• Coordinate packing, labeling, carton markings, and prepare shipping/EPZ documents.
• Support compliance with WRAP, SMETA, ISO, and internal SOPs.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong garment production knowledge.
• Ability to read tech packs and buyer specifications.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; ERP/MES is an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Merchandising, Apparel, Textiles, or related field.
• 2–4 years merchandising experience in a garment/EPZ factory.
• Knowledge of production workflow and quality systems.
