Mid-level UX Researcher & Tester at Equity Bank Kenya

We are looking for a Mid-level UX researcher to be a part of our globally distributed team. The work you will do will help us understand our users and make our experiences feel more intuitive, accessible, and delightful. 

You will be embedded in our cross-functional team and will work on complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Your research will impact every stage of the product development process from ideation to implementation ensuring our solutions are data-driven, user-centered, and aligned with business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using methods such as usability testing, surveys, workshops, and interviews.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform product design and development.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user needs into iterative design cycles.
• Contribute to our design system, research practices, and UX processes.
• Advocate for the user by fostering a research-driven culture across teams.
• Stay curious and continuously explore new ways to improve user experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of UX research experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a human behavior-related field (e.g., Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline) or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to design, conduct, and analyze research studies.
• Proficiency in remote usability testing tools and research platforms.
• Strong skills in synthesizing and presenting findings to stakeholders.
