    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the mortuary equipment and other machinery are in the figllt Condition and functioning properly.
    • Provide proper record keeping and provide custody of all documentation at the mortuary.
    • Receive, prepare, preserve and dispatch bodies to the family members.
    • Prepare bodies for burial by cleaning and embalming them.
    • Maintain the proper cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of the mortuary in the hospital.

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Certificate in mortuary Science from a recognized institution.
    • Knowledge of relevant legislations.
    • Knowledge of professional standard.
    • Proficiency in computer applications.
