    .NET/Java Software Developer

    Job Description:

    .NET/Java Software Developer who can undertake a software project from collecting user/client requirements, through coding/development to deployment and training.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Reviewing current systems.
    • Producing detailed specifications from user requirements.
    • Advanced conceptual modelling and design of databases and application interfaces.
    • Writing clean, scalable, reusable code.
    • Designing, developing, monitoring, testing, securing, and analysing APIs. 
    • Product testing and debugging.
    • Software installation and client hand-over.
    • Preparation of training manuals for users.
    • System maintenance and technical support.

    Technical Skills and Tools:

    • Desktop and Web Based application development.
    • Programming Languages: .NET(C#, VB, ASP.NET), Java, Python, 
    • Web Languages/Tools: HTML5, PHP7, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery & JSON), Joomla & WordPress CMSs.
    • Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 - 2019.
    • Experience with the 3.5 Microsoft.Net Framework.
    • Knowledge of API Management Tools.
    • Databases: MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle.
    • Data Manipulation: MS Excel.
    • Intermediate User Interface Design for Desktop and Web Applications.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree/diploma in relevant programming field. 
    • Minimum three years’ experience as a developer.
    • Ability to travel within Kenya.
    • Screenshots of completed .Net or Java projects MUST be attached.
