Networks Implementation Lead at Gap Recruitment Services Limited

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the CEO, the candidate will be responsible for providing networking solutions and lead in systems implementations and commissioning at various client organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take part in requirement-gathering meetings, site surveys, and solution presentations.
• Assist in the design and baselining of networks and infrastructure to ensure an appropriate environment for system implementation.
• Participate in network and infrastructure planning, deployment, commissioning, modification, and maintenance.
• Provide onsite and remote network setup, configuration, guidance, and maintenance.
• Ensure setup and configurations for the networking devices including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, PBX, Access Control, and Surveillance systems comply with the recommended baseline.
• Work with management and other key IT stakeholders to build enforceable network and infrastructure security strategies.
• Troubleshoot network architecture and make recommendations for system fixes and enhancements such as backup, archiving, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive solutions for recurring problems.
• Participate in project review meetings and report on project implementation status.
• Work with client organizations teams to undertake performance verifications and acceptance testing for the offered solutions
• Train and guide users on optimal use of the offered solutions.
• Continually research and learn best practices to enhance project implementation and team performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification from a reputable institution.
• Professional Certification in N+, CCNA/CCNP certification, or SolarWinds Certified
• Professional.
• Experience in project management.
• Problem-solving skill
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to work in clients project sites even in off working hours.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience of working in an electronic security domain shall be seen as an added advantage.
