Nurse at Kenya Medical Research - KEMRI

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide basic triage and offer treatment to study participants.
2. Collect specimen and perform malaria rapid diagnostic tests on study participants
3. Maintain strict confidentiality and participants’ privacy.
4. Maintains adequate amounts of required medical supplies.
5. Ensure accurate data collection and recording of confidential clinical data.
6. Maintain strict confidentiality and participants’ privacy.
7. Develop in-depth understanding of the study design and goals for successful implementation and execution of the study
8. Develop and reviews study SOPs
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the study management

Vacancy Requirements:

1. Diploma in Community health nursing from a recognized institution.    
2. Registration with the relevant professional body.    
3. Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal and organization skills    
4. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili    
5. Hard working, diligent and ready to work in a multidisciplinary environment    
6. Basic computer application skills
