Marketing Associate at People Edge Consulting

Job Purpose:
The Marketing Associate oversees the planning and execution of the marketing strategy. This includes and not limited to public relations (PR), events management, promotions and social medial management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for updating the Number 7 Club and Restaurant website
• Responsible for handling all Social Media accounts (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter)
• Responsible for increasing web presence by keeping track of negative and positive feedback from customers and engaging customers
• Conduct pre-and-post-event promotion evaluations (Facebook, Instagram etc.)
• Organize and coordinate events and promotions to increase profitability as per the Number 7 service standards and operating procedures
• Work closely with the Manager and apply all relevant service principles to ensure that the needs of clients are consistently exceeded
• Manage marketing email account (respond to all customer enquiries, prompt follow up, maintain good client relations and rapport)
• Strategize on how to achieve customer target
• Select and engage entertainment companies (live bands, DJ’s, comedians)
• Develop and oversee set up and execution of all events at the club (e.g. Comedy nights, Valentine’s day)

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:

• Diploma /Degree in Marketing Management, Business Management or related field
• Over 2 years as a marketing representative
• Manage all social media platforms
• Event management and club activations
• Grow and maintain relationships with partners across all channels
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of customer and marketing dynamics
