    Job Requirements

    1. ACADEMIC    BACHELOR- SECRETARIAL MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
    2. DIPLOMA    Diploma in Secretarial Studies & Office Management
    3. EXPERIENCE    Have a minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience
    4. SKILLS    Be Proficient in computer application
    5. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES    Planning skills
    6. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES    Communication and reporting skills
    7. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES    Interpersonal and negotiation skills and
    8. TRAINING    Have attended management course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibility Description

    1. Maintain the office diary and assisting in planning appointments;
    2. Handle and prioritize all outgoing and incoming correspondence (email, letters, packages;
    3. Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure;
    4. Prepare management minutes and circulate; (v) Monitor office supplies to ensure the most cost-effective orders;
    5. Maintain electronic paper records and ensuring information is organized and easily accessible;
    6. Provide a work environment that is conducive to office visitors,
    7. Facilitate work of the officer one is assigned to;
    8. Type routine letters, memos and reports from drafts and manuscripts;
    9. Process data; prepare and write responses to simple routine correspondence;
    10. Operate office equipment and ensuring security of office equipment, documents and records;
    11. File documents; receiving, recording and dispatching mail;
    12. Handle telephone calls, diary and appointments;
    13. Handle routine office duties;
    14. Cross referencing correspondence and
    15. Arrange for meetings; and
    16. Mentor and supervise junior secretarial staff.
