Job Summary:

Our client, a leading fashion retail company, is looking for a skilled Pattern Maker to join their team. The Pattern Maker will be responsible for creating accurate patterns for garments, ensuring perfect fit, style, and production readiness. The role is key in turning design sketches into finished pieces that meet both creative and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret fashion sketches and translate them into accurate garment patterns.
• Draft, cut, and adjust patterns for different fabrics and designs.
• Ensure proper garment fit through sample fittings and modifications.
• Collaborate with designers, tailors, and production teams to achieve desired styles.
• Maintain precision, consistency, and high-quality standards in all patterns.
• Keep records of patterns and ensure proper storage for future use.
• Advise on fabric use and garment construction for efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong technical skills in garment construction and tailoring.
• Ability to work with different fabrics, styles, and designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of CAD pattern-making software (an added advantage).
