    Milling Machine Technician

    DUTIES

    • Setting up milling machines and positioning work pieces
    • Checking that finished work pieces meet all specified dimensions and tolerances
    • Checking that finished work pieces meet all specified dimensions and tolerances
    • Performing routine maintenance on milling machines and tools

    REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

    1. Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation
    2. Strong knowledge of machine tools and machining operations
    3. Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers and micrometers)
    4. Ability to coordinate and oversee complex machining operations
    5. Physical strength, manual dexterity, and precise hand/eye coordination
    6. Precision and attention to detail
    7. Strong problem-solving skills
    8. Ability to work as part of a team
