    Principal Corporate Communications Officer (Replacement)

    Duties and responsibilities will entail;

    • Promoting a positive corporate image of Authority to the public through promotions and campaigns; 
    • Producing and distributing newsletters, corporate and other related publications; 
    • Planning and ensuring media engagements corporate activities and events; 
    • Monitoring Authority’s digital communications activities; 
    • Implementing communication policies, strategies, campaigns and departmental plans; 
    • Implementing corporate identity and brand management strategies; 
    • Championing effective stakeholders’ relations and engagement; 
    • Formulating and implementing creative communication strategies and public relations programs; 
    • Implementing corporate social responsibility programs and maintaining their impact; and 
    • Initiating timely strategic and appropriate programmes to implement the Authority’s Corporate Communication strategy. 

    Job and Persons' Specification:

    Person Specifications 

    For appointment to this grade an officer must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Public Relations, Communication Studies from a recognized institution 
    • Master’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, Mass Communication, Journalism or Business Administration from a recognized institution; 
    • Eight (8) years’ relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years in middle level management; 
    • Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; 
    • Professional membership in good standing where applicable; 
    • Computer literacy; 
    • Fulfil the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
