Production Coordinator at Pipe Masters and Plastics Limited

Job Overview:

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Your main responsibilities will include;

• Checking and monitoring pending orders that have been booked.
• Monitoring the dispatch planner with the store supervisor ensuring that it been adhered to.
• Verifying that the booked orders follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.
• Ensuring the approved formulation matches the actual formulation used in pipe production.
• Monitoring the approved production plan versus the actual ongoing production at all times
• Verifying the accuracy of the mixing formulations used.

• Recording all formulations for all pipes in production.
• Timely reporting of all machine breakdowns, shutdowns, and power outages.
• Managing the  machine operators  and the mixer operators
• Conducting regular stock taking.
• Monitoring stock outs and ensuring they are communicated to the production planner in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a factory setup is an added advantage
• Experience in the manufacturing of FMCG is an added advantage
• Must  possess strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems is an added advantage
• Must be proficient in Microsoft  Excel
