    Program Officer – Health System Strengthening

    PATH is seeking a Program Officer - Health Systems Strengthening on Third Party Payroll- Randstad to work with the divisional, district officials, and city-level officials to provide technical assistance and hand-holding support for the Climate Health Adaptation and Resilience Tool (CHART) project.

    Responsibilities:

    • Liaison with health and other relevant department officials to facilitate and guide the development of the Climate Health Adaptation and Resilience Tool (CHART).
    • Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment of community participants for in-depth interviews (IDIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) led by the Scope Impact Team.
    • Assist the Scope Impact Team in conducting field visits and engaging with key stakeholders to gather insights and inform project activities.
    • Support the identification and acquisition of data related to climate stressors and public health outcomes in Gwalior.
    • Contribute to the identification of climate stressors and the definition of climate-health hazards in Gwalior.
    • Support in coordination with the Technical Working Group (TWG) established for Gwalior.
    • Provide technical expertise and field-level insights into the impacts of climate change on health outcomes in Gwalior.
    • Assist in organizing meetings and workshops, offering both technical and administrative support to ensure project milestones are met and project documentation is effectively maintained.

    Required Experience and qualifications

    • BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ B.Sc. Nursing/ BPT preferred with an essential Masters/ PG Diploma in Public Health or Health Management.
    • At least 5 – 7 years of experience in the public health sector focusing on planning and implementation of public health programs and research.
    • Prior experience working in similar roles, primary healthcare, or urban health settings is desirable
    • Technical knowledge and field experience in planning and implementation of public health programs
    • Experience with INGOs in the health sector and/ or Ministries of Health, and government is preferable.
    • Familiarity with the Indian public health system, flagship initiatives in the health sector, and relevant government policies/ strategies particularly NHM, Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centers, PM-ABHIM, XV-FC etc.
