Program Officer at United Disabled Person of Kenya

UDPK is seeking a qualified and results-oriented Program Officer to support the effective planning, implementation, and coordination of its programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Program planning and implementation
• Coordination with Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and other stakeholders
• Monitoring, reporting, and documentation
• Budgeting and programme support
• Supporting programme learning and continuous improvement

Qualification, Experience and Skills

•  Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Project Management, Social Sciences,Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Community Development, Disability Studies, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Project Officer or a similar rolemanaging a dynamic program with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience in Program cycle management including Design,implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Demonstrable experience working with diverse communities, stakeholders andcommunity-based organisations using participatory methodologies.
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
