Resource Mobilization Officer II (2 Posts)-Internship
Develop a resource mobilization plan based on existing and potential donors and fundraising mechanisms. In coordination with relevant technical officers, develop a “Donor brief and funding request”;
In close coordination with project management and planning officers, manage the overall and day-to-day activities related to mobilization of resources, monitoring and tracking funding needs and gaps;
Develop specific project proposals in compliance with donor requirements;
Research the interests and application requirements of the main donors and other sources of funding to the county.
Requirements for Internship
Be unemployed graduate from a recognized institution having graduated within the last three (3) years (2020,2021,2022);
University degree in social sciences, international relations, development studies, political sciences, business, communications, marketing, management or economics from an accredited/recognized university;
Proven proposal writing skills and evidence of successful resource mobilization initiatives undertaken;
Demonstrable ability to develop relationships and networks that are of value to county fundraising initiatives;
Demonstrable coordination skills and understanding of governmental project management cycle;
Proven ability to work and deliver within strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities;
Proven self-drive and ability to play a leadership role within the County.
