Drive sales growth by meeting annual, quarterly, and monthly targets through effective account management.
Build and execute strategic account plans for downstream oil and gas customers across West & Central Africa (e.g., Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, Chad).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with oil marketing companies, regulators, business partners, and market participants, leveraging personal contacts.
Work closely with senior executives to define and implement regional sales strategy and internal teams (Pre-sales, Operations, Delivery) to ensure a seamless customer experience from first engagement to solution delivery.
Expand customer engagement by introducing the full suite of FuelTrans solutions and maximizing share of business in each account.
Identify and pursue new opportunities, presenting tailored proposals and building credibility with decision-makers.
Create detailed sales plans that drive both short-term wins and long-term growth.
Manage the sales funnel effectively to track and progress opportunities.
Use tools such as Salesforce for lead, opportunity, and deal management to ensure efficiency and standardization
Candidate requirements:
7+ years of sales or account management experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within West and Central Africa.
Proven track record in selling software, automation, and point-of-sale solutions for the fuel retail environment.
Strong background in the downstream Oil & Gas sector with deep understanding of regional client needs.
Technical or retail sales experience with a multinational company or a regional fuel retailer in Africa.
Fluency in both French and English.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
