The Banking Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of banking sales representatives to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and promote the bank's products and services. The Team Leader will provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to optimize performance and drive revenue growth..
Roles/Duties & Responsibilities.
Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of banking sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to team members to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members and monitor progress towards objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand the bank's customer base.
Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and address any performance issues.
Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets, forecast sales projections, and develop action plans to achieve objectives.
Ensure that team members deliver exceptional customer service at all times, fostering positive relationships and enhancing the bank's reputation.
Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
Prepare and present regular reports and presentations to senior management on sales performance, key initiatives, and recommendations for improvement.
Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to evaluate team performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize sales effectiveness.
Work closely with the dealers &channel partners
Support in any other task as directed by Management
Skills & Qualifications.
Minimum 3 years work experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business-related field.
Ability to fluently communicate in English & Kiswahili.
Training skills to impart technical knowledge to others.
Problem solving skills
Fix it right first-time attitude.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must maintain a professional appearance
Willing to travel.
Previous or current experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage.
