School Laboratory Technologist at Rose of Sharon Academy

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly competent School Laboratory Technologist to support practical Science learning across our:

• CBE Junior School
• Cambridge IGCSE
• Cambridge AS & A Levels
• IB Diploma Programme

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science Laboratory Technology, Applied Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in an international school, college, university or research environment.
• Practical experience supporting Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics laboratories.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory health, safety, chemical handling, storage and disposal.
• Experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, inventory management and procurement.
• Experience with Cambridge and/or IB practical requirements will be an added advantage.
• Excellent organisational, communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• High level of professionalism, initiative, integrity and attention to detail.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and learner safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that laboratories, equipment, chemicals and practical resources are safe, well-maintained, adequately stocked and ready to support high-quality Science teaching and learning across all programmes.
