Job Summary

• Provide legal counsel including litigation, legal actions, and loan recovery procedures.
• Supervise the preparation and assessment of legal documentation.
• Advise on regulatory and legal requirements to enhance compliance.
• Support the implementation of legal procedures and policies.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including legal counsel, regulatory organizations, and other institutions.
• Facilitate training sessions on legal matters and collaborate with departments.

Qualifications

• A law degree (LLB) from an accredited university. A Master’s degree in law is preferred. 
• Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-admission experience in litigation, debt recovery, and relevant laws.
• Strong litigation experience in handling high-volume legal cases, revolving around debt collection. 
• Experience in banking and related financial services is required.
