Senior Manager, Healthcare at KCB Bank Kenya

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The role leads the development and execution of the Healthcare MSME sector strategy, ensuring alignment with overall retail and MSME business objectives.
• It identifies market opportunities through continuous monitoring of sector trends and drives initiatives that enhance growth and competitiveness.
• The role oversees the Healthcare MSME team, ensuring effective resourcing, capability building, and collaboration across Branch and Digital channels.
• It partners with product and innovation teams to design sector-specific financial solutions, including tailored lending and payment tools.
• The role ensures full compliance with regulatory, operational, and risk management requirements within the Healthcare MSME portfolio.
• It monitors financial performance, customer satisfaction, and retention metrics to sustain growth and strengthen the Healthcare MSME value proposition

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define Healthcare MSME strategy, aligned to Retail and MSME ecosystem direction.
• Identify opportunities and market trends in Healthcare MSMEs.
• Develop, motivate and manage Healthcare MSME team resources.
• Drive collaboration across the value chain for Healthcare clients.
• Collaborate on Healthcare MSME products that address sector-specific needs.
• Risk, Regulatory, Prudential & Compliance
• Oversee Healthcare MSME sector compliance, risk and regulatory adherence.
• Client
• Build Healthcare MSME value propositions and customer experience strategies.
• Ensure high service satisfaction and strong customer retention.
• Manage Healthcare MSME sector financial targets and performance reporting.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Academic & Professional

• Education     Bachelor’s Degree    Degree from a regrecognized university     RQ
• Professional Qualifications    Project management or business field         AA
• Master’s Degree    Business Administration Or related          AA
