Senior Portfolio Management Officer - 2 Positions at Kenya Development Corporation

The Senior Portfolio Officer will be responsible for undertaking analysis of mature investments and advice on viability of retaining such investments and the management of historical non-performing loans portfolio.

Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;

• Initiating and implementing strategies for the effective portfolio management;
• Undertaking collections of outstanding accounts receivable from historical nonperforming loans;
• Monitor, and evaluate performance of mature investments; and the debt portfolio
• Advising on KDC’s exit strategy for mature investments;
• Advising on KDC’s servicing of debt;
• Implementation of repayment proposals and loan rescheduling;
• undertaking portfolio risk analysis;

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

• At least four (4) years’ relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized institution in Kenya;
• Knowledge and experience in data collection, analysis and presentation;
• Excellent financial modeling skills;
• Excellent business acumen;
• Good interpersonal, and communication skills;
• Team player;
• Proficiency in Computer Applications
• Show merit and ability as reflected in work performance; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
