    Assistant Manager Business Development - 2 Positions

    The Assistant Manager Business Development will be responsible for origination of new business opportunities and ensure sustainability of the established businesses. He /She will also be responsible for developing policies and strategies for business development programs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Identify potential business and investment opportunities
    • Monitor competitors’ offerings to understand each target markets, identify gaps or opportunities and liaison with innovation team develop appropriate products and solutions.
    • Co-develop the next generation products or services or solutions for the identified new business opportunities.
    • Lead the introduction and rollout of new products / solutions to existing and new clients
    • Develop and communicate a unique value proposition to identified clients.

    Assistant Manager Investment Appraisal & Administration - 2 Positions

    The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the development and review of investment and loan recovery policies, monitoring and evaluation of the existing investments and recommending appropriate strategies; and managing the credit risk on the loan portfolio in the most profitable and cost-effective manner in line with KDC objectives.

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;

    • Undertake business development in the specified sectors;

    Assistant Manager Portfolio Management

    The Assistant Manager Portfolio Management will be responsible for undertaking analysis of mature investments and advice on viability of retaining such investments and the management of historical non-performing loans portfolio.

    Duties and Responsibilities entail:

    • Managing relationships with investees.

    Assistant Manager Communications

    The Assistant Manager Communications will be responsible for coordinating Corporate Communications related activities including, Public relations, digital communications, internal communications, sponsorships, events, brand and reputation management.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Incorporating online tools and in-person networking to create relationships and ultimately build the KDC brand, both online and off line.
    • Content creation, writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels.
    • Social media marketing– creating, managing and growing the authority’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties.
    • Events and event planning– attending industry events and planning meetups for KDC leadership.

    Senior Information Communications Technology Officer

     Job Purpose

    This Officer will facilitate and manage information and telecommunications through ICT Project Management, developing ICT systems.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Developing documentation of computer programs according to instructions and specifications;
    • Installing and configuring computer systems and solutions;
    • Maintaining application systems;
    • Providing end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities;

    Assistant Manage, Security Officer

    The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining safe and secure environment for KDC staff and property.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Develop and implement Policies and Procedures relating to safety and security in the Corporation,
    • Ensure compliance with approved safety and security policies to safeguard staff, visitors and general public using KDC premises,
    • Co-ordinate the monitoring, detection and deterrence of crimes in KDC premises,
    • Carry out investigations on security breaches to conclusion liaising with relevant authorities for appropriate action,
    • Reporting on any security incidents to all concerned parties,
