    Senior Producer

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Senior Producer drives the ideation, planning, development, and execution of non-news content across radio, TV, digital, and social platforms. The Senior Producer ensures all content is audience-centric, digital-first, biblically sound, commercial sustainable, and aligned with Hope Media’s ministry objectives.  As the custodian of creative excellence and programme quality, the Senior Producer provides editorial oversight in content production, enforces production standards, and champions innovation in storytelling and format development. The role requires a strong blend of creative vision, editorial judgment, and business acumen, with a clear focus on content monetization and contribution to overall revenue strategy, audience growth, and platform relevance. S/he also plays a key leadership role in building and nurturing a pipeline of production talent and on-air presenters, ensuring continuity, consistency, and alignment with the evolving needs of our core audiences.

     The position reports to Content and Editorial Lead.

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the development and execution of innovative, audience-centric non-news programming across radio, TV, digital, and social media platforms.
    • Oversee the full production cycle from ideation, scripting, and recording to editing, post-production, and final delivery.
    • Conceptualize and commission engaging content including talk shows, devotionals, documentaries, TV/ Radio drama series and scripted content, music, digital-first short-form formats, and lifestyle programming across audience categories.
    • Develop digital-first formats that align with audience preferences, ministry objectives, and market trends.
    • Plan and manage content calendars, production schedules, and workflows to ensure timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing teams to develop sponsorship proposals for flagship programmes.
    • Ensure editorial accuracy, theological alignment, and brand consistency across all content.
    • Review and approve scripts, rundowns, and production briefs to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Utilize audience insights, analytics, and feedback to optimize engagement and programme performance.
    • Identify opportunities for new formats, partnerships, and platform expansion to grow reach and impact.
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire presenters and production teams, fostering creativity, accountability, and excellence.
    • Ensure compliance with editorial, regulatory, and quality standards, while managing budgets and delivering performance

    Requirements

    • Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Production, or related field
    • At least 5 years’ experience producing content for broadcast and digital platforms with a proven portfolio of successful shows.
    • Strong scripting, research, and editorial planning abilities
    • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking capacity under tight deadlines
    • Deep understanding of Christian worldview, faith-sensitive storytelling, and media ethics
    • Technically fluent in studio and field production coordination
    • Ability to lead production teams and manage creatives with calm authority and collaborative spirit
    • Understanding of Christian doctrine, with the ability to present faith-based content with conviction and grace
    • Demonstrated team leadership in a media house
    • Agile, innovative and research oriented for media content development and production.
