Senior Project Manager (Construction) at Rose Avenue Group

Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Project Manager (Construction)—not merely an employee, but a long-term partner to grow with the organization. The successful candidate will oversee multiple, concurrent projects from post-sale through final installation, driving operational excellence by leveraging deep expertise in construction industry rates, material pricing, and subcontractor management. Reporting to senior management, the Senior Project Manager will shape project processes, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure budgets are met while delivering KPI-based reports that inform executive decision-making

Job Responsibilities

Project Oversight

• Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain robust project timelines, including design, production, delivery, and installation phases.

Reporting & KPI Management

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing project milestones, budget adherence, and progress against KPIs.
• Provide clear executive summaries to inform senior management of both successes and risks.

Budget & Resource Management

• Supervise procurement and labor allocations, applying strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontractor rates.
• Track and report on cost variances, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and corrective actions when necessary.

Leadership & Conflict Resolution

• Directly manage cross-functional teams (designers, production staff, installers), ensuring accountability, motivation, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain high performance standards and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

Construction Industry Expertise

• Navigate supplier relationships, market pricing, and subcontractor negotiations confidently.
• Ensure adherence to relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive process enhancements for improved project outcomes, focusing on better reporting, risk management, and cross-department collaboration.

Other Requirements

• 7+ years in Project Management within construction or fit-out industries.
• Degree in Project Management at a minimum.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently, from design phase to final handover.
• Strong reporting skills: capable of producing KPI dashboards, budget variance analyses, and strategic updates for senior management.
• Managerial expertise: history of mentoring teams, implementing best practices, and effectively resolving conflicts.
• Technical proficiency: familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com) and office tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
• Excellent communication: clear and concise communicator with experience in stakeholder management and client-facing interactions
